In recent years I’ve developed an interest in the Roman Empire, Ancient Greece, and Greek Mythology.

This has coincided with me taking on more fell runs and hiking more.

There is something about being up there on a newly conquered summit, with a seemingly endless vista rolling out before you, that makes you feel like one of the Greek heroes.

You feel on top of the world, close to the heavens and Mount Olympus where the mighty Zeus fends off uprisings and dastardly plots from his jealous kin, whilst ruling over his kingdom with an iron fist.
