Taking a deep breath

In those moments that your chest feels tight, your face is stuck in a scowl and your life feels like hurtling through the sky, few solutions are as helpful as taking a deep breath…

We can take a deep breath both literally and spiritually. It’s the act of taking a moment, to just be in the moment, appreciate the simple things in life and press the reset button.

No matter how serious a situation or feeling may be, it is vital to have these mindful moments.

One of the activities that feels like pressing the reset button to me, is getting out in nature.

Whether it’s a walk by the sea, exploring a forest, a hike or run on the fells, it feels like my soul takes a deep breath.

On the exhale, it reframes issues and stresses in my mind, making them feel far more manageable.

In this post, you can see just some of my pictures from my adventures out in nature.
